Definition of Revocation
Revocation is the permanent withdrawal of the Digital Trust Validation and its corresponding digital seal. This status is definitive, meaning the business will lose the license to use the seal and its public listing in our directory will be updated to show the revocation resolution details.
Causes of Revocation
A Digital Trust Badge may be revoked under the following standard circumstances:
- Failure to resolve technical or legal observations within the 15-day suspension grace period.
- Relocation of operations outside the state of Querétaro, losing compliance with our local operations requirements.
- Recurring minor compliance failures or systematic refusal to participate in follow-up audits.
⚠️ Immediate Revocation
QRO. VERIFICADO will execute an immediate revocation without any prior suspension or warning in cases involving:
- False Documentation: Submitting forged certificates, tax details, or identification documents.
- Identity Theft: Misrepresenting the business brand or simulating ownership of verified domains.
- Fraudulent Use of the Seal: Copying, embedding, or displaying unauthorized seal designs on unverified pages.
- Illegal Activities: Official investigations or notices linking the verified domain to fraudulent trade or criminal activities.
- Administrative Mandate: Resolutive notices from judicial or competent consumer protection authorities.
Appeal Procedure
If a merchant disputes a revocation decision, they have the right to file an appeal under the following guidelines:
- Submission Timeline: The appeal must be submitted in writing within 5 business days following the formal revocation notice.
- Addressing Entity: Appeals must be formally addressed to the Comité Técnico de Validación de QRO. VERIFICADO.
- Evidence: The appeal must include solid technical or legal evidence showing the compliance anomalies did not exist or have been completely solved.
- Resolution: The Committee will review the appeal and issue a final, binding resolution within 10 business days.
