Definition of Suspension
Suspension is a temporary administrative status applicable to active trust badges when minor technical, legal, or operational non-compliance with the ESCODI-QRO-001 V1.0 standard is detected during scheduled or random tracking audits.
Correction Grace Period: The temporary suspension lasts up to 15 calendar days, depending on the severity and nature of the technical observation, allowing the merchant to make the necessary adjustments before losing the badge.
Causes of Suspension
A trust seal may be suspended due to any of the following minor anomalies:
- Temporary SSL certificate failure or insecure HTTP page redirections.
- Unannounced modifications or removal of the Privacy Notice and Terms and Conditions.
- Temporary unresponsiveness of verified customer support telephone or email channels.
- Minor inconsistencies in the registered business files discovered during tracking audits.
Merchant Rights during Suspension
During the suspension grace period, the merchant has the following institutional guarantees:
- Right to receive a detailed notification detailing the technical observations and target correction period.
- Access to the Applicant Portal to submit evidence, clarify observations, and chat directly with technical auditors.
- Retention of their position in the public directory, marked under the "Correction Grace Period" status banner.
Reactivation Procedure
To restore the badge status to Active, the merchant must:
- Access the applicant dashboard at
/expediente.php. - Make the technical or legal adjustments specified in the technical observations list.
- Send a notification message using the live chat workspace.
- An auditor will verify the correction within 48 business hours. If approved, the seal status is restored to Active.
